London Children’s Homes Managers Network

The London Children’s Homes Managers Network exists to provide an opportunity for London to come together to share expertise in running and developing children’s homes. The network links directly to the Association of London Directors of Children’s Services (ALDCS).

This network seeks to;

  • Facilitate collaboration, knowledge sharing, and best practice among managers of children’s homes across London.
  • Address common challenges, enhance professional development, and improve outcomes for children in residential care.

This is a forum for those who are responsible for the running of Children’s Homes across London

Membership eligibility

Membership is open to managers or senior staff responsible for children’s homes within London boroughs.

Management and Governance

The network is be governed through LIIA (London Innovation and Improvement Alliance) by a Steering Committee composed of elected members from participating Local Authorities.

The Steering Committee oversee the network’s activities, including setting agendas, organising events, and managing resources.

LIIA facilitate the network having a direct line of communication to the Association of Directors of Children’s Services (ALDCS) in order to contribute to policy priorities and developments.

When do we meet?

Quarterly meetings are held to discuss relevant topics, share updates, and collaborate on initiatives.
