LIIA was pleased to host our second London SEND Summit at the Guildhall on Friday 24th March. Materials from the summit are available to download.

At the ALDCS Summit in February, we heard from Teresa Hills, Head of Service at Merton, who spoke powerfully about the impact of the Leadership in Colour Programme and offered vital takeaways for systems leaders to address anti-racism.

LIIA's placement student, Trainee Clinical Psychologist Amber Qureshi, reflects on 6 months working with the team.

This month, LIIA ran a workshop for London Authorities and colleagues across the SEND Partnership looking at the new Ofsted Inspection Framework for Local Area SEND Inspections.

 

LIIA (working on behalf of the Association of London Directors of Children's Servics) shortlisted for prestigious London Government Chronicle (LGC) award.

'Together for London's Children'

This week saw us proudly host our annual children’s summit and first in-person event post-pandemic at The Livery Hall, Guildhall alongside the Association of London Directors of Children’s Services (ALDCS). It was attended by over 160 delegates made up of a wide variety of London-wide senior figures from children and young people’s services.
